President-elect Donald Trump faces another controversy on his real estate cases. The case involves a lawsuit with two class action suits against the Trump University in California, that reveals Trump's real estate "secrets" to the people who enrolled. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said that the president-elect agrees to settle the case for $25 million and an additional payment of $1 million for penalties.
According to USA TODAY, Schneiderman said that today's $25 million settlement is a remarkable switch by Donald Trump and a major victory for over 6,000 victims of his fraudulent university. Trump's defense team said that the decision was made to be settle so that by the years of potential action could be avoided. Daniel M. Petrocelli, lead attorney who presented Trump's case.
On the other hand, Trump said, that he settled this case numerous times, but he does not like to settle things when he was right. And he added, "When you start settling cases, you know what really happens? Everyone will sue you because you have known as a settler." He claims he is not a settler.

They also tracked down a thousands of records of Trump's court battles since 1980's, coast to coast, and finds that the business tycoon settles lawsuits for at least 259 times. The Washington Post stated that the president-elect is now working to reduce the number of his legal complications before he takes the office. Negotiations for the Trump University were handled by lawyers for Shneiderman, who files a case against Trump University way back 2013. He also called Donald Trump's real estate program "a fraud from beginning to end".
