The American fantasy drama television series, "Game of Thrones" will be heading to the small screen in summer 2017. There were speculations that "Merlin" actor, Tom Hopper was caught filming on its seventh season. Perhaps, he would be playing as Dickon Tarly on its upcoming season.
It was previously reported that "Game of Thrones" season 7 would have its delay on its release date. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, executive producers of the show previously explained on the UFC Unfiltered podcast that the major development in the finale episode of season 6 might cause a delay in its upcoming season.
"We don't have an air date yet," Benioff and Weiss said. "We're starting a bit later because at the end of this season, 'Winter is here'-and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes anymore. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim, gray weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."
On the other hand, there were speculations that the 31-year old English actor, Tom Hopper would play the role of Dickon Tarly, a fictional character in "Game of Thrones" season 7 who was a skilled hunter and excellent swordsman and was quite arrogant and condescending.
As "Game of Thrones" were filming in Las Brenas, Spain, Tom Hopper was caught by fans and paparazzi hanged out around the set with James Faulkner, who played the role of Randyll Tarly. According to Los Siete Reinos, Tom Hopper's undoubtedly presence in Caceres made almost certain that he would be playing Dickon Tarly on its seventh season.
It was then speculated that Hopper would possibly play the role of Dickon Tarly on "Game Of Thrones" season 7 as Freddie Stroma, formerly played by Dickon has moved into his starring role in "Time After Time" a new sci-fi action series based on 1979 science fiction novel of Karl Alexander.
