It seems the delays and the long wait are definitely worth it as "Final Fantasy XV" is a few weeks away from its big release date! Square Enix has revealed the special skills that the four main characters will have.
As previously reported here on Jobs & Hire, "Final Fantasy XV" will have a Comrade DLC that allows players to experience the epic gameplay with the character of their choice. Players can choose from the four main characters, all of which are male, for now. We have Noctis, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus, all terribly good looking and powerful. It turns out that each character has their own set of unique skills, and Square Enix has spilled the beans on the details.
According to Game N Guide, each character in "Final Fantasy XV" comes with a unique skill that makes surviving in the vast world of Niflheim. Noctis turns out to be a man of fish, and by that, we mean he loves to fish, hence he has a unique fishing skill. This handy skill will gain levels by catching more fish, the higher the level, the more fish Noctis can catch. Having a high fishing skill will make fishing equipment a whole lot cheaper. What do we do with a bucket load of fish? Why we give it to Ignis for cooking!
You definitely heard that right, Ignis is the cook of the camp. When players have no choice but to camp out during adventures, Ignis' cooking will fill everyone's stomach in "Final Fantasy XV." As we have, Ignis has a unique cooking skill and he uses it to dish out everyone's favorite dishes. This bespectacled handsome fellow can collect ingredients by defeating monsters, recipes can be learned as the players go further into their adventure. The more food Ignis encounters, the more recipes he learns, which is a very realistic concept.
As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, Gladiolus the macho man with gorgeous facial hair and a cool scar has the unique skill Survival. When battles end, Gladiolus will be able to loot various items that can be useful in their adventure. The skill level increases by simply walking around, the higher the skill level, the higher the chance to nab rare items.
Lastly, we have the puckish playboy Prompto who has the unique skill Photography. As it turns out, the blonde is a trigger happy selfie expert. With his unique skill that levels up with the more photos he takes, selfies become a norm in the world of "FinalFantasy XV." Keeping track and documenting the long adventure will be easier with this shutterbug around.
In other news, many fans are quite phased that this is the first "Final Fantasy" game with an all-male roster. Not that we mind the flashy good looks they pose but still, fair sex is something that many feel needs to be added to the game. Square Enix is not closing the doors on this development, according to one source, the developers will work on adding a female playable character if the demand is strong enough.
The wait is starting to seem worth it as the release date comes closer. Fans can finally purchase "Final Fantasy XV" on November 29, 2016, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
