"Arrow" Season 5 is in bad shape in the eyes of many fans who find that this season's plot needs to be thicker. Thus triggered talks about the return of everyone's favorite Speedy, leather clad brawler, Thea Queen.
Willa Holland returning to the series will definitely spice things up for both the fans and Oliver Queen. Many viewers would simply love to see Holland flaunt that red leather suit again in "Arrow" Season 5.Many fans have loved Thea Queen as she has been played by Holland for all five seasons of "Arrow," and her return might actually save the day. Especially now that after five episodes of the latest season aired and didn't bring home enough bacon for Netflix.
According to Bleeding Cool, Holland suited up again to save Oliver Queen who was apparently nabbed by Tobias Church. However, that was the only time she wore the red leather suit again and seems to be seriously staying true to her word. During the last season finale, Holland stated that she was definitely done with the role.
Despite her promise, Holland admits to missing her Speedy costume and lurking around the Arrowcave, firing arrows with deadly precision. Moreover, the actress also shared her thoughts about the photos that feature her in costume for the crossover. Holland has a feeling that she will be suiting up again whenever it is necessary. Hopefully, the bad guys in Star City would stir too much trouble for Oliver to handle on his own and have Thea Queen make a Speedy return.
As for the show's ratings, well things aren't looking as good as we want it to. According to Movie Pilot, ratings are falling flat for the first five episodes of "Arrow" Season 5. There are many possible reasons that can explain the sudden fallout. The best of which is the best ship in the show 'Olicity' apparently sunk deep into the sea. In addition, the death of Laurel Lance, a major character also contributed to the massive loss of interest.
