Following the success of "Xmen Origins: Wolverine" released on 2009 and "The Wolverine" on 2013 comes the final leg of Wolverine's own movie entitled "Logan". The movie which is graced by Hugh Jackman, will be showing in cinemas on 2017.
"Logan" will be distributed by 20th Century Fox. Intended as the tenth installment of the X-Men movie series, Logan will feature the famous comic book character Wolverine. It is produced by the Marvel Entertainment and is distributed by 20th Century Fox.
As the movie was officially announced to be released next year, only little information is issued in connection to the movie's plot. However, X-men fanatics and movie enthusiasts online has already talked about on what should be expected in the third installment of Wolverine's solo movies.
According to GameNGuide, the fans now tend to expect the movie to have a mysterious take on Hugh Jackman's character after the movie has been classified as Rated R. Also, James Mangold, the film's movie director, has already answered several interviews in connection with "what to expect" with the movie leaving a very few information for Wolverine's fans.
Some posts of Mangold in Twitter have already led in the revelation of the movie's first film poster, and some parts of the movie's script, as well. The Wrap, an online entertainment site, exposed that the storyline of the hero's older self will be featured in the movie and will appear to be darker compared to the other "X-Men" or "Wolverine" films which came before this movie.
As Logan's condition gets terrible with his factor for healing and immortality starts to fade, the movie also reveals that it will be Hugh Jackman's final performance portraying Wolverine's role in the bunch of heroes powered by mutation. The confirmation came personally from the lead actor himself.
Among the exemplary casts leading "Logan" are Hugh Jackman as the titular character, Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Dafne Keen as X-23/Laura Kinney, and many more. The upcomning movie, which will be released in IMAX and 3D formats, is planned to be released in the United States on the 3rd of March 2017.
