‘The 100’ Season 4 Spoilers, News & Update: The CW Finally Announces Premiere Date

After a long break that seemed like it would never end, Clarke and friends from "The 100" are getting ready for their big comeback. Season 4 is due to come back to The CW this coming February 1. Since last season's finale was more volatile than ever, this new chapter series promises to be even darker than before.

Bad news for fans who have been hoping actress Alycia Debnam-Carey's inclusion in "The 100" Season 4 cast. Apparently, she will not be back in the latest season of the series according to reports and is not likely to continue her role as Lexa either.

Jason Rothenberg, series creator, has already given the answer on Alycia Debnam-Carey's character, reports Mic. It can be recalled that Lexa died in the finale of the show's third season arather disputable death to the eyes of her fans who immediately took storm to social media to express their dismay as well as their impulse to have Lexa return when "The 100" Season 4 release date comes by.

It can be recalled that Lexa's death sparked a protest from the LGBTQ community who complained of a double standard in Hollywood, where gay characters are killed more often than their straight ones. While Alycia Debnam-Carey might not return as a member of "The 100" Season 4 cast, the actress is doing quite very well outside the said series, having been recast in AMC's hit zombie series "Fear the Walking Dead" as previously reported by Game N Guide.
