The filming of "Maze Runner 3: The Death of Cure" has been experiencing hiatus for some unfortunate reason. Dylan O'Brien who played the role as Thomas, the main protagonist of the series was rumored to leave the science-fiction dystopian action adventure films. Fans and followers were in dismay as they heard the said speculation.
It was previously reported that O'Brien had an unfortunate accident during filming the upcoming movie "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure". As it was reported that "Teen Wolf" star suffered fractures, concussions and facial lacerations. It is indeed, that Dylan could possibly leave the show about the incident happened to him.
According to Sugar Scape, an insider of "Teen Wolf" news claimed that Dylan was yanked to the ground by his safety vehicle and dragged under it. It was reported that the 25-year-old actor's face was really damaged to the extent that facial reconstruction would be needing.
As the news released by GameNGuide, it was stated that there would be a possibility that Thomas' character in "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" would have a new look. On the other hand, there were no confirmations yet if Dylan would either continue his role as Thomas or leave the upcoming movie.
In fact, prosthetics, high-end make up and even technology were enough to cover facial lacerations of Dylan. Besides, Dylan has a long time to fully recover for it was reported that "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" would have its initial release on January 12, 2018 at United States.
As the news released, "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" would continue filming by next year. Hopefully, Dylan would be fully recover from his injuries, fractures and facial lacerations to be still part of the upcoming movie. His character as Thomas played a major role in the upcoming fantasy film.
