There have been rumors that HTC 10 is going to have Nougat update but there is no information on the release dates. HTC is normally open about updates for handsets but lately, there has been no direct information given by them on the dates for HTC 10 to be updated to Android 7.0.
As reported by Tech Times, Technology informer @LIabTooFeR said that HTC 10 in Europe will be updated prior to the completion of this year. On Monday, the developer stated that by the end of November or starting of December, users will obtain Android 7.0 updates.
Testing of the handset that has Nougat updates is happening at the HTC head office, and this leads us to believe that the latest OS update for HTC 10 will very soon be released. This should happen because HTC made a promise of updating every one of the 10 sets in all parts of the globe before this year passes by. There is a change coming for Android and HTC users, and this change is the use of Nougat instead of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
According to IBTimes, there has been a discovery of HTC 10 running Android 7.0 Nougat, and the screenshot leakage has confirmed that updates have been launched for the device. As it is well known that this device has a firm construct, the pictures show that the device has a new and exciting experience for Android users. The leaked images also show that despite the reality that this update is coming with lots of new features, there are little changes shown to people. Among these changes include a few changes on the lock screen, shortcuts, and a few apps.
Currently, there are a few rumors that HTC 11 is coming up and with it Android 7.0 Nougat will already be installed. These rumors may or may not be true and now we only have to wait on HTC to confirm this possibility.
