From a bewildered-looking Sansa to Arya riding to wherever, to Jon Snow presumably talking to Daenerys, the latest "Game of Thrones" season 7 HBO teaser already looks intriguing. With only 7 episodes slated to air season, fans are expecting the plot of "Game of Thrones" to unravel quicker.
According to The Telegraph, a teaser for "Game of Thrones" season 7 was aired during a commercial break in the season finale of the HBO sci-fi series "Westworld." The teaser gave fans a heads up on what to expect in the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones."
If this preview is any indication of how the "Game of Thrones" season 7 would unfold, then the plot will largely focus on Winterfell, or more accurately, on the Stark side of the story. The House of Stark, from season 1 until the latter part of season 6, have had to go through the most gruesome experiences a family has ever had to endure and endure they did. Well, some of them anyway.
The short clip showed Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in Winterfell looking startled as if she someone or something caught her by surprise. Fans are speculating that someone is possibly Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) who have finally come home to be reunited with his sister.
Speaking of Arya, she is seen in the teaser riding a horse. To where? There are a couple possibilities. One is the aforementioned reunion with Sansa. Another possibility is that she is likely on her way back to Westeros to try and remove some names from her list.
Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), meanwhile, is seen on the teaser having a conversation with a woman. Fans speculate that the woman is Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). And if the "bastard of Ned Stark" and the mother of dragons are having a deep conversation, the logical conclusion is that they are talking about joining forces to reclaim the Iron Throne.
Once that battle is won, they would likely turn their attention to the real war: The battle against the "White Walkers." After all, winter has come, as Winterfell folks like to say.
With Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, and Arya Stark, back in their homestead, House Stark can plan a course of action that would allow them to reclaim Ned Stark's honor. And with Daenerys seemingly teaming up with the Starks, or at least teaming up with Jon Snow who technically is a Stark, the quartet can have their revenge against the injustices the House Lannister have caused them. Or see that justice is served. Or whatever, this is "Game of Thrones." Anything can happen.
