Whovians all over the world can not wait for The Doctor to come back next year. With the new companion and villain, fans would want to find out what will happen to "Doctor Who" Season 10.
Steven Moffat, the show's creator, said that they are currently filming the upcoming episodes. He also said that they are on the verge of shooting the "Doctor Who" Christmas Special.
According to Radio Times, "Doctor Who" Season 10 is being filmed not just in Cardiff but also in Bristol and Valencia, Spain. Matt Lucas will also reprise his role as Nardole, the henchman of River Song from 2015 Christmas Special titled "The Husbands of River Song."
New companion Bill (Pearl Mackie) will also be introduced in the upcoming "Doctor Who" Christmas Special this year. Pearl Mackie replaced Jenna Coleman as the companion of The Doctor for the upcoming season.
Pearl Mackie described her character as a funny, geeky and vulnerable character. She is goofy and has big heart, who gets a temper when she does things wrong, Cultbox reported.
Steven Moffat was quoted sating that "Bill is someone who asks the questions that nobody has asked for 53 years. She has the irreverence and cheek to ask all the questions you're not supposed to ask on Doctor Who." He also clarified that Bill is not from the 80s, she lives in the present day UK.
The new addition to "Doctor Who" considers her character Bill as a wicked character. Pearl Mackie believe that Bill is "fantastically written, cool, strong and sharp." She explained that she can not wait to bring her to life in "Doctor Who" Season 10.
In this season The Doctor would have to face an awful threat in a cosmic battle. Moffat made sure that he will not leave the series without a bang, Jobs & Hire reported. To date, there has been no confirmed air date for "Doctor Who" Season 10.
