"Gintama Live Action" cast has been revealed in a recent Twitter post and it seems that Hideaki Sorachi's alt-history manga is getting a film adaptation in 2017. The said post flaunts the main cast in costume, giving fans a sneak peek of what is to come when the film's release date arrives.
The upcoming "Gintama Live Action" release date is not too far away since the film adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi's alt-history manga is slated to premiere in Summer 2017. The official Twitter account for the upcoming film has unleashed eye candy for fans to enjoy.
According to Crunchy Roll, the "Gintama Live Action" cast includes Shun Oguri as Gintoki Sakata and Masaki Suda as Shinpachi Shimura while Kanna Hashimoto joins the cast as Kagura. The upcoming live action film will be directed by Yuichi Fukuda and needless to say the cast members sport those costumes quite well.
In addition to the three main cast members revealed for the "Gintama Live Action" film, the title's official Twitter account also revealed other talents to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi's popular alt-history manga. According to Anime News Network, he rest of the cast include Masami Nagasawa as Tae Shimura, Masaki Okada as Kotaro Katsura, Tsuyoshi Muro as Gengai Hiraga, Yuuya Yagira as Toshiro Hijikata, Ryo Yoshizawa as Sougo Okita, Kankurō Nakamura VI as Isao Kondo, Hirofumi Arai as Nizō Okada, Jiro Sato as Henpeita Takechi, Nanao as Matako Kijima, Akari Hayami as Tetsuko Murata, and Tsuyoshi Domoto as Shinsuke Takasugi.
The "Gintama Live Action" film is slated for release in summer 2017, a few months after the premiere of the anime adaptation's next season. In a previous report in Jobs & Hire, it was mentioned that the anime adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi's alt-history manga series is likely coming to a close next year.
