A new episode of CBS's "Hawaii Five-0" TV show features Missy Peregrym as a special guest. Peregrym talked about Danny Williams and revealed some details about her new role.
Previously, TVLine first confirmed that the "Rookie Blue" star would be landing a role on "Hawaii Five-0." Although it was not stated what role would that be, fans speculated that she will be appearing in "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 in episode 10. Peregrym was set to play the role of Bridget, the sister of Danny Williams.
Bridget travels from New Jersey to Hawaii for a business retreat where she will be reuniting with her brother. Danny Williams will soon discover a new side of his sister once she acts in a professional manner.
In an interview with ETCanada, Peregrym hinted out Bridget's relationship with her big brother, Danny. She admitted that Bridget and his brother will have a sibling rivalry in the story. Although she will be seen in one episode, Peregrym stated that they made five scenes in one episode. She also made sure that the "Hawaii Five-0" fans will see a full-packed episode.
Although Scott Caan's Danny is an annoyance to Peregrym's character, she reiterated that she "really enjoyed every scene." When asked about her thoughts of becoming a guest star, Peregrym admitted the feeling of intimidation, specifically in her family member role.
"It was intimidating," she admits. "Everybody has their rhythm, their routine, they know each other, and you've got to pop in [as a guest star]," she said.
According to her, she wasn't sure how their chemistry would come out. The scenes, however, ended up the way she pictured it. Peregrym also teased that she enjoyed working with Scott Caan whom she described as a fun, hilarious and energetic actor.
Nevertheless, working with the "Hawaii Five-0" cast and crew was a fun moment for her. Peregrym once played the role of an officer in the "Rookie Blue." Since the "Hawaii Five-0" is a cop show, she revealed that she felt a bit strange not playing an officer role in a cop show. Though, she admitted that she will not take cop roles for the meantime.
Fans can watch Missy Peregrym's guessing episode on Dec. 9. The "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 airs at 10PM ET/PT on TV and online.
