"Sakura Quest" is a brand new TV anime series has been announced to premiere on April 2017 by P.A Works anime studio on Wednesday. The official website of the anime states that this is the 3rd project of P.A Works and the storyline will be about people and their jobs.
According to Anime News Network the "Sakura Quest" TV series will have a storyline centered on five girls that works for a tourism bureau in their small provincial town. The town strives to enliven their nation's tourism program. The tourism program originated from a nationwide faction during Japan's bubble economy period. The five girls were hired as tourism envoy. The anime will portray one year of the five girls' job in the tourism field, and present how they progress and grow.
During Japan's bubble economy period, an independent nation trend arose. During this period Japan has proclaimed an independent nation with the goal to enliven tourism and industry in their province. This has started in Shin Yamatai Koku in 1977. The independent nation coordinated with the government and tourism bureau with some even having their own chambers. This period created 200 independent nations in Japan.
According to Crunchyroll the casts for Sakura Quest will be Ayaka Nanase as Yoshiro Koharu, the protagonist of the show. Reina Ueda as Shiori Shinomiya, she is a member of the Manoyama tourism group who works with Yoshino Koharu. Chika Anzai as Maki Modorikawa, Maki Modorikawa is a resident of Manoyama who failed her dream of becoming an actress and returned to her native land.
Chiemi Tanaka as Ririko Oribe, Ririko Oribe is a young lady who dislikes living in Manoyama, but has no courage to transfer elsewhere. Mikako Komatsu as Sanae Kouzuki, she is an eccentric woman who was born and raised in Tokyo. She moved to Monoyama about half a year earlier than Yoshino.
Hopefully, the Sakura Quest characters Yoshiro Koharu, Shiori Shinomiya, Maki Modorikawa, Ririko Oribe and Sanae Kozuki are probably going to inspire everyone who will watch "Sakura Quest" anime TV series this coming April 2017. Watch the preview video below, and subscribe for more updates!
