‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7: Jon Snow To Lead Battle Against The Wights In Episode 6?

Production on the seventh season of “Game of Thrones” is ongoing, and fans cannot wait for the return of the hit HBO show. While the cast and crew have remained mum about the upcoming installment, it was claimed that episode 6 will feature a huge battle against the wights, and it’s likely that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will be leading the charge against them.

According to Watchers on the Wall, Kit Harington, Iain Glen, Rory McCann and Kristofer Hivju have all been spotted filming at the Wolf Hill Quarry set in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Director Alan Taylor was seen with the actors on Friday, Dec. 9, and it was said that Taylor’s presence at the location confirms that the wight battle will take place in Episode 6 of "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

Earlier this year, Entertainment Weekly revealed the upcoming season’s directors, which include Alan Taylor, Jeremy Podeswa, Mark Mylod, and Matt Shakman. Alan Taylor is known for directing the last two episodes of season 1, and it can be recalled that "Game of Thrones" episode 9 titled “Baelor” saw the death of beloved character Ned Stark (Sean Bean). The director returned in season 2 and helmed episodes 1, 2, 8 and 10.

As Alan Taylor will be directing the penultimate episode of "Games of Thrones" season 7, it has been speculated that the hour will see a shocking death, apart from the stunning fight sequence. Viewers will also be tuning in to see Jon and Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) first meeting, as Watchers on the Wall posted some paparazzi photos of the two while filming in Spain last month.

As previously reported by Jobs & Hire, there are rumors of a possible alliance between the Mother of Dragons and the newly appointed King of the North. Though the two were revealed to be related in the season finale, it was rumored that Jon and Dany will have a romantic scene in season 7.

“Game of Thrones” season 7 premieres in summer 2017 on HBO.
