After being tight-lipped for months regarding "Alaskan Bush People" being renewed for Season 6, the Discovery Channel has finally released an official sneak peek of the new season. When the Brown family returns in January, they will share how they try to stay together no matter what.
For months, the lack of updates from the network fed rumors about "Alaskan Bush People" Season 6 being canceled. But now, a trailer has been released, which teases the fans of what to expect from the docu-series when it returns in January.
As reported by People, Matt Brown is definitely back to Browntown, joining his parents Billy and Ami, and his six other grown siblings in the new episodes of "Alaskan Bush People." Matt Brown spent some time in the rehab to deal with his alcohol problems. It is expected that "Alaskan Bush People" Season 6 would feature Matt's recovery from his issues.
Now that the family is complete again, the wolf pack, as what they call themselves, will focus on staying together at all cost. In the sneak peek video, Billy said, "This year is all about a self-sustaining homestead."
What Billy Brown is talking about have actually started to be shown through the "Alaskan Bush People: Bushcraft Chronicles" that were aired last month, and a Christmas special aired last week. In "Bushcraft Chronicles," the Brown family showcased their skills such as making their own shelter and power grid.
The "Alaskan Bush People" sneak peek also previews how their home in the wild in rural Alaska have changed since it was destroyed by bears in the previous season. Their home has been transforming from being an encampment for the family into a little town.
"This is what living wild in the bush is all about," said Bear, who is shown running up as stream in the trailer video.
"Alaskan Bush People" Season 6 premieres on Jan. 4, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. on the Discovery Channel.
