Fans of "Mortal Kombat X" have been waiting patiently for "Kombat Pack 3" and has dealt with numerous delays for the DLC because NetherRealm Studios have decided to prioritize "Injustice 2." However, a new DLC was released and added a new character to the game's roster.
Despite it being a simple consolation or something for fans to enjoy while the wait for "Kombat Pack 3" gets longer by the day, NetherRealm Studios decided to release a new DLC. Apparently, the new DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" adds Freddy Krueger to the game's roster of playable characters. The nightmare on Elm street horror icon can now cast fatalities and participate in death matches in-game. It is worth mentioning that Jason from "Friday The 13th" is also part of the new DLC.
However, according to Chatt Sports Net, the DLC is now available for download and NetherRealm Studios happily spread the news via Twitter. The same DLC was also added to "Mortal Kombat IX." However, it was limited to mobile only. With that being said, PC players could not fully enjoy Freddy Krueger and Jason on a bigger screen.
Moreover, Game N Guide reported that NetherRealm Studios has put Kombat Pack 3 aside once again and fans will have to bear with them prioritizing the creation of "Injustice 2." However, the same report claims that fans might have to wait only four months more before the much-awaited DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" comes along. For now, fans can enjoy the Freddy Krueger DLC and have Jason and Freddy relive their 2010 movie for you in-game.
However, the "Mortal Kombat X" Freddy Krueger DLC is limited to MKX Mobile, just like how it was for "Mortal Kombat IX." Stay tuned to Jobs & Hire for more updates on "Kombat Pack 3."
