Ryan Reynolds protagonist role in the "Deadpool" movie has suffered from cancer thus making him decide to join an organization that gave him hopes to get his cancer healed. Upon his consent to undergo the experiment he was given a painful treatment and a hideous burnt face. The suffering that Ryan Reynold's protagonist role has gone through the movie had made him realize that people who go through the deadly disease in real life are going through so much pain and agony.
Ryan Reynolds has actually decided to dedicate the award to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Sick Kids Foundation of Toronto, and this is in accordance to their kindness for the kids in need. He has also dedicated the award to the memory of his friends Connor McGrath and Grace Bowen who both died because of cancer.
Ryan Reynolds has become a very busy man especially with his kids. He even mentioned that he might actually take a nap during the awards show, and that is where he will take a little rest.
