"Poldark" Season 2 left fans of the Elizabeth-Ross love team on a subdued note as it ended with Ross agreeing to work things out with his wife. However, it seems that the makeup scene between Demelza and the "Poldark" Cornish hero does not spell disaster for his love affair with Elizabeth!
The Week reported that "Poldark" fans can expect Ross to continue on his foolish ways. Could this mean that he will not let go of Elizabeth and will continue to have a sneaky affair with her?
The end of "Poldark" Season 2 left fans worried about the status of the affair between Elizabeth and Ross, while those who were rooting for Demelza have been furious. Jobs & Hire previously reported that the affair between Ross and Elizabeth ended on shaky grounds in "Poldark" Season 2 as Ross begs for Demelza's forgiveness and Elizabeth enters into a relationship with Ross.
Although "Poldark" screenwriter Debbie Horsfield refused to give out any information about what "Poldark" viewers can anticipate in Season 3, she implied that there will be new faces and new twists, RadioTimes reported.

A sneak peek trailer of "Poldark" Season 3 shows a very pregnant Elizabeth. It is not clear who the father is, but it is not too hard to imagine that "Poldark" fans are thinking that it could be Ross. Will this be the end of the marriage of Ross and Demelza?
New characters will also appear in "Poldark" Season 3 although there is very little information on how they will affect the period drama's storyline. "Poldark" fans will be introduced to a sex-crazed vicar, two new handsome brothers and an arrogant aristocrat. "Poldark" Season 3 will premiere in 2017.
