Samsung S8 vs iPhone 8 Specs & Update: Who Will Be Smartphone King in 2017

Samsung wants to improve its image and recover market share because of Galaxy Note 7 recall faux pas. Apple is looking forward to get its luster back with a major smartphone reboot. Samsung has some exciting announcements for its Galaxy S8 plan, and same as the previous year, it will come out with 2 models.

The major difference in 2017 however, will be the introduction of a new Galaxy S8 PLUS model which will have a 4K display, dual-lens camera and with a full S-Pen support. A virtual home button embedded in the glass will show a sleeker look, and Bezel-free displays will give more screen real estate.

A curved glass front and back with a metal band on the rim is expected to be featured on The iPhone 8. It would be a radical change after three models of the same type handset. Apple fans are happy to hear that news.

Both the Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 are expected to use an organic light-emitting diode or OLED displays, rather than more common liquid crystal display or LCD. For the camera, an 8MP front shooter for selfies and a 12MP dual-lens for the main, dual-OIS and 4K video recording. CPU is the A11 processor, 3-4GB RAM. Displays are 4.7, 5.5 and 5.8in 1920 x 1310 Curved OLED 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB of storage. Some of the few features are Iris scanner and wireless charging.

Comes with 4K video recording, optical image stabilization. One of the extra features is the Iris scanner.
Displays are 5.1 and 5.5in 2160 x 3840. Curved 4K Super AMOLED Display. A 64GB internal, 256GB storage that is expandable CPU and RAM, follows Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 or Samsung Exynos 8995 Processor, 4-6GB RAM. For the camera sports, a 12MP with wide angle lens for front and for the back is Dual-lens 16MP.
