Comedian Actor Alan Thicke was one of the stars of the "Growing Pains" American sitcom sadly the comedian actor passed away on December 13, 2016. The actor died from a heart attack as confirmed by a publicist for Alan Thicke's son, singer-songwriter Robin Thicke.

According to BBC News, Robin Thicke has a message on Instagram stating that "He was the best man I ever knew. The best friend I ever had." "Let's all rejoice and celebrate the joy he brought to every room he was in. We love you Alan Thicke." Some more famous actors also wrote a message for Alan Thicke through Instagram, and Twitter.

Alan Willis Thicke was born on Canada in 1947. He has been nominated for three Emmy Awards for his deeds in the last 1970s as a writer for Barry Manilow's talk show. He was also nominated prior to his sarcastic approach in the variety show America 2-Night.
