The upcoming open-world tactical shooting game titled "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" has new maps uncloaked by Ubisoft recently, and it has been reported to incorporate one of the largest open worlds that Ubisoft has ever made. The game is expected to give players a new level of exploring experience.
According to News Everyday, the upcoming game marks the 10th installment of the "Ghost Recon" franchise and also it is also the first game franchise with a full aspect open-world. They also stated that "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" will be taking players in the open plains of Bolivia, and the map of the game is divided into 21 regions in total.
Each region contains different town information, water passages and people's culture. The game also incorporates 11 unique biomes which contains their own climates and set of animals. The "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" shows an interesting premise, and it will be set in the present day of Bolivia but portraying an alternate reality. In the alternate reality the government is corrupt and has given permission to Santa Blanca to move in Bolivia. The Santa Blanca was also ordered to take over the country whatever means necessary.
The player will be role-playing as an Elite Ghost, who will be fighting on two fronts. The primary objective of the player is to infiltrate Santa Blanca, and eliminate its leader El Sueno. The players will be competing with a corrupt military that is supporting El Sueno, and upon the disruption made the more resistance the locals can organize. "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" offers an open-world experience way better than the rest of the "Ghost Recon" franchise, and Ubisoft stated that there will be plenty more activities and engagement on its way.
As a matter of fact, Benoit Martinez the games lead and technical art director has recently revealed that the company has already created an interactive world surrounded by NPCs.
