Scarlett Johansson's Highly Anticipated Live-Action Film 'Ghost In The Shell' Has A New Clip!

The "Ghost in the Shell" film is a science fiction action film, and is directed by Rupert Sanders. It is written by Jonathan Herman and Jamie Moss based on the original "Ghost in the Shell" by Masamune Shirow. The film has been highly anticipated by fans of Scarlett Johansson.

The "Ghost in the Shell" circulates within the cyborg counter-cyberterrorist field commander The Major played by Scarlett Johansson, and her task force Section 9. The Major and the Section 9 task force will be hunting down cyber criminals and hackers, and they will be facing an enemy who will stop at nothing in bringing destruction to Hanka Robotic's artificial intelligence technology.

On the Japanese official website they posted a 30-second interim video that announces the release day in Japan. According to Crunchyroll, the clip announces the release date in Japan to be on April 7, 2017, which is one week later than the film's release in the US on March 31, 2017. The clip also includes a footage from the "Ghost in the Shell Exclusive Event" that was held in Tokyo on November 13, 2016.

It has introduced the protagonist of the "Ghost in the Shell" Scarlett Johansson as The Major, and the famous Japanese comedian/actor/director Beat Takeshi as Daisuke Aramaki. The film is also confirmed to be officially titled "ゴースト・イン・ザ・シェル/Ghost in the Shell."

According to a report from Coming Soon, the cast of "Ghost in the Shell" also includes Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, Michael Pitt as Kuze, Pilou Asbæk as Batou, and Kaori Momoi. The Section 9 members are going to be played by Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara, and Tuwanda Manyimo.
