Bethesda’s "Dishonored 2" was just released last month and received tons of great reviews from gamers. To hype up the game, Bethesda offers the new mode, New Game+, which includes crossover abilities and more features.
Polygon stated that to date, players are only allowed to use the protagonists Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin's skills separately. With the update, after finishing the game, "Dishonored 2" could now unlock the New Game Plus mode, which allows them to combine their abilities.
This update offers you to use Emily’s “Mezmerize” stun ability the use Corvo’s "Windblast ability." This new feature allows unlimited skills you could imagine with using the two protagonists combination skills. This will allow you to murder the nemeses in tons of way imaginable. Still, with having ease on the game by using this new feature, players would still be challenged in the upcoming Game Patch 2.
Furthermore, the runes and bone charms that the players have acquired through the game, you can now actually re-assign the runes that you think would be best with the New Game Plus mode.
“If you've ever wanted to make higher-powered characters, now's your chance. If you’ve wanted to play Emily Kaldwin with Possession or Devouring Swarm, or Corvo Attano with Domino, now you can. We’ve been having fun with it here at Arkane Studios, and we hope you will too,” stated by creative director Harvey Smith.
Meanwhile, Engadget reported that the other "Dishonored 2" update would be released this December, which would allow the players to “custom difficulty settings,” was moved to January to be included in the Game Patch 2. This patch will also include missions that you could replay, which is usable if you have collectibles you had missed.
The game's first update will be released on Dec.19 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while PC users are already enjoying the early Christmas gift test beta as of now.
