The CW’s post-apocalyptic series “The 100” Season will finally make its come back in the first quarter of 2017. The show’s loyal viewers are looking forward to the things that will unfold in the latest season.
The CW released “The 100” Season 4 official trailer, which shows that the survivors of the nuclear apocalypse will be facing more struggles and challenges. In the trailer, it was mentioned that after the nuclear explosion, a meltdown is starting to happen. And with that 96% of the earth’s surface is inhabitable.
The trailer shows terrifying scenes wherein black rain will come first; there will be no drinkable water and then precancerous lesions will form. There are bodies wrapped and burnt. The survivors were trying to find a way to get a cure for such epidemic. To add more thrill, viewers can hear a voice saying the horrifying phrase that “death is inevitable.” Will Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) be able to make it this time?
In the trailer, it was also seen that Clarke and the rest of the Skaikru battling legions of enemies, as reported by Movie Pilot. In the first episode of Season 3, the viewers were introduced to Azgeda king Roan (Zach McGowan). It was known that Roan and Clarke’s relationship is a bad one. After Roan lost his mother and sister, he was certain to make revenge and set for an all out war. There was a portion of the trailer wherein Clarke was seen forming an army. Will this imply that there will be an upcoming Skaikru and Azgeda war?
“The 100” season 4 trailer showed a slogan that says, "From the ashes, we will rise." Is that a sign that there is still hope that the survivors will be over to overcome everything? It is yet to unfold on what will happen in the next season, but with what is seen in the trailer, the faith of the Earth is still not certain.
Meanwhile, Jobs & Hire reported that one of the most talked about death in the upcoming season 4 is that of Bellamy (Bob Morley). The fans might be up for heartbreak since Bellamy and Clarke’s romance might not come to a good end.
“The 100” Season 4 will premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. on The CW.
