According to Good Housekeeping, LookSee Wellington is calling this opportunity as a “global talent attraction program, and 100 potential recruits will be invited to stay in the country for free. All you have to do is prove that you can serve as a creative director, solution architect, software developer, product manager, analyst, or digital strategist to get a free ticket to New Zealand.
The application process starts by registering online with LookSee Wellington and creating a profile. Wellington employees will review all applications and nominate their chosen candidates. Candidates with the highest nominations are selected to fly to Wellington.
After that, travel details and itineraries are confirmed, and candidates will fly to Wellington to meet with employers. Job offers are made to successful candidates, and if you get an offer, you get to move into the community.
Once you’ve settled in Wellington, be prepared to take in the sights, sounds, and cuisine of the tech community. There are over 750 bars, restaurants, and cafes in the area—said to be more per capita than New York City. You also get to enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.
There’s no lack of culture as well as Wellington is home to over 55 galleries and museums. Most of all, you get to experience the country’s great weather as the community enjoys around 2,000 hours of sunshine each year.
