Miss Dominican Republic, Yaritza Reyes, suffered a major mishap during one fashion show for the Miss Universe 2013 competition.
Among the 86 delegates for the Miss Universe 2013 competition, Miss Dominican Republic, Yaritza Reyes, was one of the chosen candidates to model for a Yamamay fashion show in Moscow. Unfortunately, the stage's construction proved to be a challenge for 19-year-old beauty as she tumbled and fell onstage when it was her turn to walk. Audience members in the show and some of Yamamay's staff helped the curly, dark skinned stunner to regain her composure. Being a true diva with grace, Miss Dominican Republic went on with her walk as if nothing had happened at all.
In the middle of the catwalk, a triangular hole is constructed to provide as a divider for the candidates to maneuver on, but Yaritza failed to see the hurdle and kept walking forward. This caused her fall and many were concerned about the safety of the contestants participating in the said fashion show.
The model, who is currently studying social communications in Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in Dominican Republic, is into philanthropy work and singing. Yaritza has been singing since she was 8 years old, and has been volunteering for a children's camp for 5 straight years.
Yaritza revealed that singing gets her through tough times, and also dictates her mood even when she's happy. A pure performer, Miss Dominican Republic is also a skilled dancer, and her ultimate dream is to become an actress. With her stunning looks and graceful attitude, it wouldn't be an impossible feat to achieve!
