Marvel's Agent of SHIELD may have raked high ratings on its premiere episode, but everything just went downhill week after week as viewers continue to question the lack of superhero elements of the show.
This week is supposed to be its sixth week, but Marvel's Agents of SHIELD season 1 episode 6 won't make it to primetime television tonight, October 29. Instead, ABC has decided to air its premiere episode again without clearly explaining the main reason why.
Because of these many questioned ABC's shocking decision. Fansided opined in its review article that it could have possibly been due to the fact that the show is obviously struggling with "dipping ratings," hence, the network thinks it's best not to go "head-to-head with X Factor" this week.
Meanwhile, Cinemablend voiced out its disappointment over the news that Marvel's Agents of SHIELD season 1 episode 6 will skip its supposed airing this week and will be shown next Tuesday instead. Cinemblend even noted that the all-new episode of the series would have been very timely with the Halloween celebration since it has "some horror elements worked into it."
According to the official synopsis for Marvel's Agents of Shield season 1 episode 6, titled "F.Z.Z.T." - "When floating bodies turn up, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D must hunt down an elusive killer. No one is safe -- not even the team." From the looks of it, Cinemablend was referring to the idea that since "no one is safe" perhaps one character is to die early in the first season of the series. Whether this is true or not, we can't have the answers yet until this episode officially airs next week.
