A few more days before the pageant and fans can't seem to get enough of showing their support to their favorite candidates in the voters' poll count where Miss Philippines, Ariella Arida, and Miss Myanmar, Moe Set Wine, leads the list.
Aside from the judges' decision, fans play a huge role in deciding who will nab the coveted Miss Universe 2013 title and crown. Those who bag the most votes will have a secured spot in the pageant's semifinals, and all the 86 contestants are wishing to get as much votes as possible.
According to the official voting rules of Miss Universe 2013, they will "take the average of the total votes from the IP addresses originating from each country and each country vote will count as 1." Followers of the pageant from all over the world are encouraged to vote for their favorite delegate in the Miss Universe website, and so far, four ladies seem to be getting lots of love.
Miss Myanmar Moe Set Wine, has been established as a fan favorite, and has 252, 974 votes as of today. This is the first time Myanmar has sent a representative for the famous beauty pageant after 50 years, and fans of Moe Set Wine are making sure to make history along with the end of the long hiatus.
Not falling behind is Miss Philippines, Ariella Arida, whose confidence is making her one of the most sought-after candidates this year. Miss Philippines joined the Tony Ward fashion event for the pageant, and was picked as one of the six candidates to be featured in a Mercedes-Benz commercial which will air in Russia after the pageant.
Miss Vietnam, Throung Thi May, has more than 14,000 votes under her belt, while Miss Curacao Eline De Pool, is sitting pretty at more than 20,000 votes.
