Chris Brown Enters Rehab for Anger Management

After another run-in with the law due to a brawl just a few days ago, Chris Brown has checked himself in rehab to control his anger issues.

Chris Brown surely has a streak of "losing it" in public, with numerous displays of how he always resorts to violence in any situation that does not favor him. Over the weekend, Brown was released from jail with a misdemeanor charge after being involved in an altercation with his body guard outside the lobby of W Hotel in Washington.

The Grammy-winning singer's representative, Nicole Perna, has confirmed that Brown is willing to seek help to control his anger management. Perna said in a statement that Brown did so in order to "gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point," as reported by Celebuzz.

The Washington incident involved the singer and his bodyguard throwing punches at Parker Isaac Adams, a man who "photobombed" a photo opportunity of some girls with the singer. Adams allegedly slipped inside the area where the photo was taken, to which the singer did not take lightly. Brown then shouted "I ain't down with that gay s---t" and "I feel like boxing." Adams claims that Brown's homophobic statement did not help at all, and that he has no plans of taking down the charges.

Brown is currently on parole with his more infamous assault charge back in 2009, when he shamelessly hit his then -girlfriend, singer Rihanna. Chris pleaded "not guilty" to the assault charges, but if found guilty this time, Brown can face jail time for violating his parole.

There is no confirmation if Brown is also seeking help for substance abuse or alcohol, though a source claims that the singer is "self-medicating" with alcohol and marijuana for his unconfirmed "illnesses."
