The Miss Universe 2013 is just days away from announcing its crown-holder for this year, and although the competition has its judges to score the Miss Universe candidates in the contest proper, the Miss Universe Organization has announced an online judging program for fans called "You Be The Judge!" last November 4.
This Miss Universe real-time scoring program will allow fans to rate the contestants during the finals night this November 9 at 9pm ET. Fans can rate each contestant on a scale of 1-10 for the three categories of the beauty pageant: the Swimsuit, Evening Gown, and the Final Question.
"YOU BE THE JUDGE" will allow active scorers to view and compare the scores other fans gave the Miss Universe 2013 candidates.
Additionally, fans who will use the said online Miss Universe 2013 service can get an exclusive first look to the official scores of the 62nd Miss Universe Competition judges.
Moreover, fans can voice out their opinions on the polling questions that will appear throughout the live telecast of the competition.
To join the "YOU BE THE JUDGE" interactive program, simply log onto www.MissUniverse.com on or before the live telecast of the 62nd Miss Universe Competition.
It is important to note however that the scores fans will give encode in the online scoring program will not, in any way, affect the final scores of the judges. The Miss Universe Organization maintains that this will simply serve as an interactive and entertainment platform for fans of the beauty pageant.
The Miss Universe 2013 finals night will be held at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. The panel of judges will include: Steve Tyler, Tara Lipinski, Chef Nobu, Carol Alt, Farouk Shami, Anne V, Philip Kirkorov, and Italo Fontana.
