Following last week's "The Proton Displacement" episode, where we saw the return of Sheldon's favorite professor, Professor Proton (Bob Newhart). However, we surely knew that there was trouble underway when Professor Proton opted for Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) second advice on his paper and not from Sheldon. And although Sheldon (Jim Parsons) was more vengeful on Professor Proton than Leonard last week, the tables have surely turned this week since he is now more than ready to take down his bestie-slash-roommate. And in tonight's show we are going to see the two geniuses battle it out against each other in a bet that will somehow prove to be Leonard's weakness. However, Penny just might have the perfect solution for Leonard once she finds out about the tricky bet. In a sneak peek to the upcoming Big Bang Theory Season 7 episode, we can see that Sheldon is bringing on the challenge to Leonard when he pops out a too-painful-for-the-eyes red sweater with embroidered "Lenny" on it. And that's not all. We are most certain that that red wooly sweater is absolutely "itchy and uncomfortable." However, Leonard is very determined to win the bet, so without hesitation he wears it only, to feel "itchy all over" upon wearing it. And although Leonard is trying his best to beat Sheldon, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) will somehow step in and give Leonard a suggestion to simply forget about the bet and take off the horrible sweater. But Leonard will refuse to give in telling Penny that he needs to win the bet. At the end of the clip, we can hear Penny saying, "Every night you don't kill him in his sleep, he wins." Meanwhile, if you have been a fan of the Raj-Lucy couple, then you will surely enjoy tonight's episode as Kate Micucci's Lucy joins the show once again to reprise her role after last time's ended-too-soon romance. We all know that Lucy has this big problem with her way too serious social anxiety and fear of being in a room with a lot of people in it. But we are not sure if we could say the same in tonight's episode. After the heartbreak she has caused Raj for leaving him behind during their date and for simply ending their relationship through a text message, we were somehow a little bit happy for Raj, who has now overcome his fear of talking to women. But can Raj (Kunal Nayyar) forgive Lucy for what she did? Spoilers say that Penny will be the first character to meet the returning Lucy in tonight's show, but how will she be able to recognize the other when she hasn't even met her before? We all know that Penny is always playing the big sister for the gang, so can we expect her to step up for Raj the moment Lucy tries to break his heart again? Find out all the answers by watching 'The Big Bang Theory' season 7 episode 8 online using the free live stream link below.
