'Fast & Furious 7' To Continue Filming Despite Paul Walker's Death

'Fast & Furious 7' isn't going near nowhereland and it's not even close to hitting limbo, the film is set to continue filming despite the sudden death of one of its lead actors, Paul Walker, according to multiple sources.

Paul Walker didn't only leave us all with a heavy heart but also a big question on whether or not the upcoming installment of the 'Fast & Furious' movie series is to continue filming despite the actor's death. Nevertheless, Universal and the production team behind Fast 7 revealed that the movie will not be abandoned entirely, instead they are to resume filming the big-budget movie anytime soon.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Walker, who died at 40, was expected to return to Atlanta Sunday to resume the filming of 'Fast & Furious 7.' However, it was very unfortunate that the actor died alongside his friend Roger Rodas, who was driving the limited edition Porsche that led to an unexpected car crash, causing them their lives on the Thanksgiving holiday. Rodas was the CEO of Walker's company, Always Evolving.

According to several reports, director James Wan and the Universal executives called for a Sunday morning conference discussing on the move that will best fit 'Fast & Furious 7' given the devastating fact that one of its well-loved characters is now dead in real life. Sources say that the makers are also questioning if there is a need to rewrite the movie on account of Walker's death.

It can be noted that Walker is set to reprise his role as Brian O'Connor in Fast 7, which was actually supposed to hit theaters come July 11 next year. Fortunately, a large part of the movie has already been taped, according to insiders. The only significant part that is left for them to film is the Abu Dhabi scene where all of the lead stars such as Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and even Walker were scheduled to be part of.

As of late the studio has not released a statement on 'Fast & Furious 7.' On the other hand, many speculate that the movie will suffer the same fate of 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnasseus,' which had temporarily suspended filming following Heath Ledger's death. Later on, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law were casted as the different versions of Ledger's character in the film.
