120-Pound Mother of Four Eats 72-Ounce Steak In Less Than Three Minutes, Sets New Speed Record

And where does she put it?

It's a common question aimed at those much-envied women who can eat staggering amounts of food and not seem to gain an ounce of weight. Meet Molly Schulyer, a 120 pound Nebraska-bred mother of four, who recently made the Pepsi Challenge look like child's play when she downed a 72-ounce steak in 2 minutes and 44 seconds at Sayler's Old Country Kitchen in Portland, Oregon as part of its 72-ounce Steak Challenge. The challenge has been in existence since 1948 and has minimal rules. Eat the steak prepared rare or medium rare (with all the fixin's), in less than one hour without leaving your chair, and it's on the house. The total meal has a value of $65.00 but the right to say you beat the challenge is, well, priceless. Especially if you're only one of eleven women out of 1500 people who attempted this culinary coup. If that's not enough, she manged her way through the world record for eating a 72-ounce steak by four minutes.

Schulyer is no newbie to food challenges. She's acquired some serious consumption-cred in her home state of Nebraska, where she picked up wins at various competitions throughout 2012 and 2013.  In August of 2012, she became the first woman to win the Stellanator, a food challenge at Stella's Bar and Grill. The sandwich consists of six hamburger patties, six eggs, six pieces of cheese and six pieces of bacon. It's topped with fried onions, lettuce, tomatoes, jalepenos, pickles, mayonnaise, two buns and...wait for it....nearly a jar of peanut butter.

Last week, the 34-year-old mom managed to consume a 12-pound sandwich in just 54 minutes, a feat which earned her $650. All Pro Eating, a group that calls itself the only "Independent Competitive Eating organization," revealed in a press release that Schulyer once ate nine pounds of fried mushrooms in eight minutes, eight beef patties in less than two minutes, and seven bun and cheese sandwiches in a minute and a half, winning all three competitions.

When asked about her impressive eating skills, Schulyer told KPTV in Portland, "I started doing this about a year ago, and I guess it's like a stupid human trick."

About an hour after her most recent feat involving the 72 oz steak, Schulyer reportedly snacked on a burger.
