Jenna Dewan just gave birth to baby girl Everly seven months ago in May 2013 but the "Witches of East End" actress has already gotten back her dancer figure and washboard abs.
The 33-year-old former professional dancer debuted her post-baby body at this year's Golden Globe Awards in a stunning Roberto Cavalli gown on the arm of her equally gorgeous husband Channing Tatum. The Witches of East End actress paired the black and white, form-fitting gown with Irene Neuwirth drop earrings and a slicked back mane.
In her latest interview with Us Weekly, the covergirl showed off her hard-earned figure in skimpy clothing and shared her story on how she back her abs just a few months after giving birth.
Jenna Dewan, who posed in multiple sexy outfits ranging from a tight red dress to a revealing bikini top and cutoffs, shared to the magazine that she was determined to lose her baby weight as soon as she could after giving birth to first daughter Everly back in May 31, 2013.
The 33-year-old dancer added that she had only six weeks to focus on getting back into shape before she was required to report back to Vancouver to continue filming for Witches of East End.
"I wasn't one of those girls who's obsessed with losing the weight, but that was a pretty good motivator!" Dewan told the entertainment magazine. "I thought, I've got to fit in the clothes I wore before!"
Mrs. Channing Tatum shared that she continued to stay active even throughout her pregnancy, exercising and moving around as often as possible to keep her body healthy and regulate her hormones.
The dancer also kept herself disciplined in the face of pregnancy cravings and stuck to a strict vegetarian diet.
"I think a lot of women find out they're pregnant and are like, 'Let's go crazy and eat ice cream every day!' " the 33-year-old mother of one said. "To me, it was, 'I'm growing a human being, and I want to give this little soul the best nutrition I can.' "Though life after Everly's birth was certainly busy enough, Dewan said she has taken every opportunity she possibly can to work out and keep in shape.
"When I'm rocking Everly to sleep, I do lunges across the nursery, squats, or calf raises," Jenna Dewan shared. "Suddenly 45 minutes have gone by, she's asleep, and I got a little workout!"
But the "Step Up" finds that pregnancy and giving birth have changed more than just her body, confessing that new dad Channing Tatum has also been changed significantly by fatherhood.
