Maria Kang's husband is getting a lot of attention lately following the confession of his super fit wife that he is one of the primary reasons why she has maintained her well-toned figure despite giving birth to their three sons. But who is the husband of this "Fit Mom," who has taken the world by a storm when she posted a controversial ad to her fitness company's Facebook account?

According to HollywoodLife, Maria Kang's husband is David Casler, who is obviously the father of Maria's three sons. David, known as the "Rambling Father" is a former infantry marine and security contractor as reported by Daily Entertainment News.

Maria Kang's husband graduated in 1996 from Kalaheo high school. Several years later in 2005, he served as a Private Security Contractor in Iraq, but tragedy came his way when a suicide bomber drove his explosive-filled car into the convoy in front of him.

During the said explosion, a piece of shrapnel had apparently hit David's cranium, partly damaging his brain.

Maria Kang's husband was then taken into a Germany hospital where he was subjected to 6 brain surgeries. After his surgery, it took him awhile re-learn how to walk and function normally.

In 2008, David Casler got engaged to Maria Kang. The couple married on November 2010 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.

In 2009, Maria Kang's husband and the "Fit Mom" welcomed their first son Christian. A year after that, they welcomed baby Nicholas. And finally, in 2011, they welcomed their third son Gabriel.

However, Maria Kang isn't actually David's first wife. He even has two daughters named Sydney and Piper, from his first marriage.

In one of her blog posts, Maria Kang revealed how she found her way to her now-husband David.

"One day in September 2007 I decided to network with more nonprofits on myspace. While browsing, I saw a comment by a handsome man. I clicked his profile and went directly to his blogs. In his writings I immediately sensed a deep, prolific and profound human being. I didn't know his history. I didn't view his pictures. I didn't even check if he was single! I just subscribed to his writings without adding him as a friend," she wrote.

"Two weeks later, a stranger left several comments on my blogs. After much questioning, I realized it was "the poet" I had subscribed to earlier. From that moment we spent sleepless nights talking, sharing writings and dreaming about a future together."
