Manny Pacquiao is itching to prove Timothy Bradley wrong in their upcoming rematch on April 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao, who is already in the crucial stretches of his training camp, took a swipe at Bradley as he insisted that the undefeated American knows who really won in their first showdown.
The former pound-for-pound king, who absorbed a split-decision loss during their WBO welterweight title showdown in June 2012, said that he won at least 10 rounds in their first fight, and he is looking to win all rounds in their upcoming showdown.
"I won at least 10 rounds against Tim Bradley the first time we fought," Pacquiao said, via BoxingScene. "I intend to win all the rounds against him this time regardless of the length of the fight."
Pacquiao also insisted that he is motivated to train hard and win convincingly in their rematch after Bradley said that Filipino boxing icon has lost his killer instinct.
The 35-year-old former champion vowed to prove Bradley wrong, saying that he is ready to show his old self - the fighter who scored knockout after knockout during his reign as pound-for-pound king.
"Everything I am doing in training camp is aimed at proving to him just how wrong he is," Pacquiao stressed. "I have all the respect for Bradley and what he has accomplished but I have no fear of him. He has inspired me to exceed my previous performances inside the ring. If Bradley wants to meet the fighter who stopped Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera, he's going to get his wish on April 12."
But while he vowed to dominate Bradley, Pacquiao made it clear that he will not force the situation just to knock Bradley out, saying that he has learned a lot from his loss against his bitter rival Juan Manuel Marquez during their fourth showdown in December 2012.
Pacquiao admitted that he became careless when he tried to go for the kill, and it backfired as Marquez landed a solid counter punch that knocked Pacquiao out cold.
"I am not afraid to use my power and go for the knockout. But I will remember the lesson I learned from my last fight with Marquez. Knockouts need to come naturally, you should not force them," Pacquiao stressed.
