Charla Nash photos are the hot topic on the Internet today after it was revealed that the Connecticut woman is now being denied of her right to sue the state for $150 million in damages after she was badly mauled by a friend's chimpanzee, leaving her totally blind and her face disfigured.
According to New York Daily News, Charla Nash, whose photos are being sought by many as of late, claims that she is "heartbroken" following the state judiciary Committee voted 35-3, in favor of the state claims commissioner that rejected Nash's request last year.
In her plea to be properly compensated for the state's negligence, 60-year-old Charla Nash noted that Travis, the chimp that attacked her in 2009, is "an accident waiting to happen" in her petition for the state's financial support to her case.
It can be noted that because of Travis' rampage, Charla became totally blind and she had to undergo a complete face transplant because of the serious damages the chimp has inflicted on her face.
Attorney General George Jepsen convinced the panel that the state does not, in any way, have responsibility over the misfortune of the Connecticut woman, who was reportedly disfigured by a 200-pound animal.
"I am heartbroken," Nash said in a statement. "The fact that I will not be able to tell my side of the story to a court of law is devastating. This process isn't fair. Right now, I need some time to think things through and talk with my family. I wanted a chance to be able to pay my medical bills and get the assistance I need to live as normal of a life as possible. I can't give up hope now. This means too much to my daughter Briana and me."
According to earlier reports reveal that Travis the chimp was raised by Nash's close friend Sandy Herold in Stamford, Conn.
After the shocking incident, photos of Charla Nash circulated online; however, local police still believed that the chimp did not pose a threat to humans despite what had happened.
In elaborate documents of the incident, Travis reportedly snapped one day while he was still 14. The beast managed to escape his cage and mailed Charla right away.
The shocking event nearly killed Nash. Fortunately, a cop decided to shoot Travis.
Investigators believed that a dose of Xanax may have made Travis' behavior a little too weird that day.
In 2012, Charla Nash got a $4 million settlement with the estate of Herold.
Just last month, Charla Nash appealed that politicians must allow her to sue the state for the damages she got out of the incident.
