Miami Heat News and Rumors: Pat Riley Expects LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh To Stay In South Beach

Miami Heat superstars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh are probably making their final run together this season as all three of them could hit free agency this summer.

James, Wade, and Bosh could all opt out of their respective contracts and sign elsewhere in the offseason, but Heat President Pat Riley is confident that Miami's 'Big Three' will stay in Miami.

In an ESPN interview, Riley admitted that he is concerned about the situation of his three superstars, but quickly added that he believes all three will remain in Miami, saying that the Heat is the best option for James, Wade, and Bosh.

Riley is aware that the three superstars asked for an option after the fourth year of their contract to have the opportunity to make a move, but the former Heat coach is confident the Big Three will end up staying to contend for championships in the next several seasons.

"I always have concern when players are in the situation they're in," Riley said. "But we feel we have the best organization in the league for those players to stay, and to also attract others to want to come here. With our three guys, we hope that this turns into a generational team."

Riley said that it is hard for him to think that James, Wade, or Bosh will leave Miami this summer because of what they have achieved in their first four years together.

The 'Big Three' had a roller-coaster ride in their first year together in 2010, losing to the Dallas Mavericks in the finals. They bounced back from that painful setback, winning two-straight titles, and are in a good position to win one more this season.

"They got exactly what they wanted," Riley said of James, Wade, and Bosh winning multiple titles. "Look at where they were before and look at what's happened to them. They joined forces, they all sacrificed money, sacrificed roles. What they got out of it was back-to-back championships, and the opportunity this year to win another one."

And no matter what happens this season, Riley said that he will look to retool the Heat's roster this summer to convince the team's superstar trio to stay in South Beach.
