Zayn Malik is dead at 21. At least that's what a lot of reports are claiming now after a vicious tweet landed on Twitter saying that the heartthrob was found dead inside a hotel room. However, the reports were debunked later on when it was found out that the trending topic was not at all real. And although some claimed that it was just an April Fools Day prank, it was found out later on that it as another celebrity death hoax, a false report about the death of a celeb or famous personality.
According to Beauty World News, the hoax saying that Perrie Edawrds' fiancé Zayn Malik was found dead inside a hotel room originated from an alleged BBC report. On March 31st Twitter was then filled with hashtag #RIPZaynMalik because of the viral news.
The following day after it was found out that the report was completely untrue, many thought that it was just an April Fools Day prank. But several news sites that picked up the report and debunked its nature said that it was another celebrity death hoax.
Venture Capital Post featured the viral report about Zayn Malik's alleged death, saying that although it may have been created as an April Fools Day prank, it will eventually turn into a death hoax in the long run.
Meanwhile, EntertainmentWise reported that Zayn Malik and all of One Direction's fans were not at all pleased with the "Zayn found dead" hoax.
