Alicia Silverstone is dead at 37. At least that's what a circulating report is claiming right now. The former Hollywood teen princess allegedly died Sunday. However, it was found out that the news report was simply another death hoax and that the 'Clueless' star is actually alive and doing well lately.
After disappearing from the spotlight for quite a long time now, Alicia Silverstone is being plagued by her once-dreamy fame. An online tabloid has published a report saying that the 37-year-old mom is now dead.
Media Mass broke the news yesterday that Alicia Silverstone has unfortunately passed away. The site even claimed that an "R.I.P. Alicia Silverstone" Facebook page was even created in light of her passing.
The said page reportedly received a lot of attention and got almost one million "likes" from the actress' fans.
"At about 11 a.m. ET on Sunday (April 13, 2014), our beloved actress Alicia Silverstone passed away. Alicia Silverstone was born on October 4, 1976 in San Francisco. Media Mass further reports that other social networking sites were filled with discussions on Silverstone's death, especially Twitter, which was frenzied over the death hoax.
However, it was found out later on that the report was fake. The Facebook page was not real and social networking sites weren't even buzzing about the alleged death of the former Hollywood "It" girl.
Fans who read the report, voiced out their thoughts on the nature of the said news.
"What rubbish!" one commented.
"Yahoo says she is not... Britney Murphy is dead from a heart attack," wrote another.
Alicia Silverstone is yet to comment on the issue, but several news sites including NewsDay claims that she is currently pre-occupied with her brand-new pregnancy guide book "The Kind Mama" as of late.
