Miley Cyrus is really sick. Hence, she has decided to cancel her Bangerz show in Kansas City and St. Louis. The 21-year-old controversial singer-actress was allegedly rushed to the hospital after 'hard partying' to appease her strong emotions of loss after her dog passed away. However, several rumors have surfaced about her real condition.
According to TMZ, Miley Cyrus was rushed to the hospital after spending a lot of time partying hard following her emotional meltdown over her dog's death.
She was initially reported to have bad reactions to antibiotics against flu, but TMZ claims that Miley was taking the meds was due to her extreme depression.
Sources say that the pop singer has been "an emotional mess" after her dog Floyd passed away this month. She has reportedly been crying non-stop and has endured several sleepless nights.
Nevertheless, an insider told TMZ that in order to escape from the emotional meltdown, Miley Cyrus has decided to resort to extreme partying. "She's been off the rails since this happened," the source says adding that Miley had been drinking a lot and drugs are definitely not out of the question.
Meanwhile, E! Online reports that Miley was also forced to cancel her show in Charlotte, N.C. early this month because of a flu.
E! Online's insider claims Miley's body had this really sudden reaction to the antibiotic meds she has been taking to combat the flu virus.
The source further says that Miley's hospitalization has nothing to do with her reported "partying," adding that the "Wrecking Ball" singer has been alternating between performing and resting night after night.
Miley Cyrus is currently focusing on getting better so she can complete the remaining six shows of her tour on North America. The final one will be on April 25th in Connecticut, and she is expected to move to her European tour after that.
The singer's next show is this Friday in Nashville, her hometown.
Despite her condition, Miley was able to update her fans about her condition and the changes in her tour via her official Twitter account.
"I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there...the hospital is sayin i wont b released today...therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St Louis. Im so sorry but somethings are outta my control," she tweeted at 8 a.m. CT Tuesday. Cyrus also tweeted "mizzzzzeraaabbblleeee" Tuesday night.
Because of the shocking news, many netizens couldn't help but comment on Miley Cyrus' condition.
"This sounds shady. Antibiotics are not supposed to be used to treat the flu, no hospital can force you to stay unless deemed a harm to yourself or others, and she is clearly not so sick that she is unable to tweet. Seems more like too much partying and an inability to deal with her personal problems are catching up to her. This train wreck needs to get her **** in order and be reliable for the few hard core fans she is lucky to have left...lay off the molly and take some vitamins or something," one wrote on E! Online's comments section for the recent Miley Cyrus news article.
"Antibiotics are medications that fight infections caused by bacteria, but the flu is cause by a virus. Taking antibiotics when you have a virus may do more harm than good. Taking antibiotics when they are not needed increases your risk of getting an infection later that may resist antibiotic treatment. Antibiotics only cure certain infections due to bacteria -- and if taken carelessly, you may get more serious health problems than you bargained for. Any healthcare provider who treats the flu with antibiotics should not be in this line of work. So, Miley either has the facts wrong or she is not being honest with her condition," another netizen with the username "PJ Smith, MD, PhD of Medicine" commented.
"If her sickness is not due to alcohol or drugs then most likely its an STD issue. She is always touching her ****** on stage. The media thinks its her way of being sexy but in actuality she is scratching herself because her ****** feels itchy. Whoever is her next party, for there sake, hope her STD is curable," another one wrote.
