Nike is set to release their 2014 Basketball Elite Series "Hero Collection" in May, but before the release of that highly anticipated themed pack, three more popular sneakers are set to hit the market.
First up is the newest colorway of LeBron 11 Low - the low-top version of the Nike signature shoe of Miami Heat superstar LeBron James, whose sneakers are making waves on the sneaker market over the past several months.
The LeBron 11 Low will be released in Light Base Grey/Laser Crimson-Base Grey colorway, which is dubbed as the "Laser Crimson" edition of this low-top signature sneaker.
This edition features a two-tone grey-based upper part accented with light crimson hints on several areas of the shoe, including the lining, lace eyelets, Nike Swoosh logo, midsole, and heel counter.
According to Nike, the LeBron 11 Low "Light Crimson" will be available on Friday, May 2, at 12:00 EDT and will retail at $170 per pair in select Nike retailers worldwide.
Also coming out on Friday is the other Kobe Bryant signature sneaker, which has been a regular fixture in Nike's monthly sneaker lineup.
Nike will also release the newest colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon 4 - the white/black-wolf grey-court purple colorway - that is dubbed as the "Inline" edition.
This edition features a white-based upper part accented with black Nike Swoosh logo, wolf grey heel counter along with purple Kobe logo, outsole, and lace eyelets.
The Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon 4 "Inline" will be available for $120 per pair.
Aside from the two signature shoe mentioned above, the low-top version of the latest signature sneaker of Bryant will also arrive at retailers this week.
The Kobe 9 EM, which features an engineered mesh upper as the name itself suggests, will come out in Black/White-Laser Crimson-Wolf Grey - one of Nike's featured shoe for the month of May.
"The newest color of the Kobe 9 features black Engineered Mesh uppers with white Kobe logo and Swoosh highlighted with bright accents on the Nike Flywire and collar lining. A distinctive graphic adorns the midsole next to the injected nylon heel clip and Nike Lunarlon midsole delivers an ultra-soft, responsive ride," Nike said in their release statement.
The Kobe 9 EM "Black/White" will be released on May 3 and will retail at $160 per pair.
