A sneak peek to the upcoming season finale episode of Vampire Diaries season 5 show Damon convincing Elena to help him blow up Mystic Falls. The two could be seen in Damon's car as they drive their way into the Mystic Grill to set off the gas line underneath the town. Show executive producer Caroline Dries recently hinted that three more characters are bound to die in the season finale. Dries told TV Guide that if fans are asking if there will be permanent deaths, he says, he "can think off three, off-hand."
