The son of a Hollywood director has killed several man, stabbing three of them, gunning down two women and murdering someone else in a rampage. Before the mass shooting, he left a grim Internet video in which he claimed that he would "take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you."
Authorities have announced that the 22-year-old killer, Elliot Rodger - the son of a Hollywood movie director who produced "The Hunger Games" - has murdered people in the area of Isla Vista, in close proximity to the the University of California, Santa Barbara. In the video, he explained that he would kill everyone who had ''a good life'', especially the women who avoided him.
Deputies have discovered three semi-automatic handguns with around 400 unspent rounds in his vehicle. He possessed them legally.
Attorney Alan Shifman has announced the Rodger family had contacted the police after several disturbing YouTube videos "regarding suicide and the killing of people" that Elliot Rodger has designed.
The deputy Brown called the tragedy "the work of a madman" and explained that the videotape posted by Roger was a "particularly chilling one, in which he looks at the camera and talks about what he is about to do."
In the YouTube video, Rodger is in his car, laughing hysterically, saying that he would revenge huminaty for his loneliness. He defines his condition as that of complete frustration because "girls have never been attracted to me," and also claims that at the age of 22 he is still a virgin. The video lasts seven minutes..
"I'll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you. You will finally see that I am, in truth, the superior one, the true alpha male," he screams in the video.
