Mean Girls Reunion Is So Not Fetch! Tina Fey Slams Rumors on Reunion Sequel of Famous Movie

Mean Girls Reunion may have been a very interesting follow-up to the film that defined an era for girls to be downright mean in a comedic fashion exactly 10 years ago. But we can't really "make fetch happen," and even the genius writer behind this timeless young adult comedy believes so. According to Mirror, although strong speculations on the Mean Girls reunion surfaced a couple of months ago, the much-anticipated reunion of the cast is not going to happen on the day that marks its 10th year anniversary - April 30. The classic teenybopper's creator Tina Fey has already slammed the rumors as false and dished that "there's definitely not a movie. The 30 Rock actress told Access Hollywood about the 10th year anniversary of Mean Girls, clarifying that a reunion on the big screen might not be possible at all. "It's just the anniversary is coming up, so everybody get your pink shirts. It's been 10 years. You can tell when you look at me it's been 10 years," Fey said. Nevertheless, all hope is not lost as Tina Fey teased that there is something else that they are working on for the famous young adult comedy that sensationalized catch phrases such as "fetch," "too gay to function" and "you can't sit with us." "I saw [Lindsay] at the first episode of The Tonight Show. We did that bit with Jimmy, and I said to her, 'Oh, I think someone may call us about doing some kind of reunion because next month is the tenth anniversary of the movie," Fey said. "And so really... if everyone's around we might try to do some kind of like panel discussion. "But it's not like - it's not another movie. At most it would be like a panel discussion with a plate of hot wings," she added. Mean Girls starred Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Amy Poehler, Lizzy Caplan, Jonathan Bennett., Rajv Surendra, Daniel Franzese and many others. Meanwhile, although the Mean Girls reunion movie may not be in the works, Lindsay Lohan did a reunion of her own with former co-stars Rajiv Surendre (Kevin G) and Daniel Franzese (Damian) out on a club. The three reportedly posted a picture of them with the hashtag "You can't sit with us" on Twitter. What do you think about Mean Girls reunion? Sound off in the comments section below.
