The debate on who will win between Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey is considered by many as a ridiculous debate, but if the fantasy showdown will happen, Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White had an interesting take on it.

In an interview with EsNewsReporting, White said that there is no doubt that Mayweather will dominate Rousey in a boxing match, but he pointed out that the UFC women's bantamweight champion will defeat the undefeated boxing champion in a street fight.

"Let's put that in context. In a boxing match, Floyd beats her all day long. In a street fight or in the Octagon, she hurts him bad," White said.

As evidence, White confirmed previous reports that Rousey got into a street fight with two guys, whom he hurt badly, so bad that the two men filed a complaint against the women's MMA superstar.

"Listen, this is a true story. [Ronda] got into a street fight with two huge guys in a movie theatre," White said. "She hurt them both so bad they went to the police department and filed charges against her, when they're the ones that started the fight with her. That was before she started fighting. That was when she was doing judo alone."

In an interview with MMA Fighting, Rousey played down the debate, calling it "a terrible idea", but she also pointed out that she will have the upper hand in an MMA or street fight against Mayweather.

Rousey said that Mayweather is the greatest boxer today and the boxing pound-for-pound king will be very dominant in a boxing match with her, but MMA is a different story, saying that boxing is a limited form of fighting.

"You would never report me saying something like 'I think that Floyd Mayweather is the best boxer that ever lived, an actual, technical boxer," Rousey said. "Of course Floyd would box the hell out of me if it was a boxing match. But boxing is a limited form of fighting, and we're a much less limited form of fighting and I've trained my whole life to prepare for things he hasn't prepared for."
