A well-orchestrated media campaign saying that "Mission Impossible 5 – Rogue Nation" star Tom Cruise is leaving Scientology has been circumventing for a while now. Where did the issue start?

Tabloids.

The 53-year-old actor hasn't seen his daughter, Suri, for almost two years now because Scientology won't let him get involved with her. Rumors say that he will leave Scientology to be with his daughter.

However, it was found out that this isn't true. He is in fact firmly rooted in his religion, according to Showbiz 411.

As a matter of fact, the "Edge of Tomorrow" star was photographed wearing his Scientology medal at a gathering in the U.K. last fall. So, Cruise leaving isn't likely going to happen.

For Suri's sake, Katie Holmes moved to Los Angeles to try and get geographically closer the "Top Gun" star, but nothing happened. She moved back to the Big Apple, with her daughter, in preparation for a film she's about to direct under Tribeca Productions.

She shoots first week of August, while her ex-husband visits the town last week of July to promote the "Mission Impossible 5 – Rogue Nations" movie. Will the father and daughter meet?

Meanwhile, "Mission Impossible" is all set to be released. Paramount Pictures will present it in IMAX theaters on July 31 in the United States and internationally, as per the report of Movie Pilot.

"Mission Impossible 5 – Rogue Nation" was originally scheduled to be released on Dec. 25. However, the producers opted for an early release.

The reason behind was favorable timing. Major films, such as "Sepctre" and "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," will be released this Christmas holiday.

In addition, there was no point of waiting because fans are already very eager to see the film. Hence, it's a win-win situation.

The new movie also promises to feature a lot of BMW cars — M3 to be exact. World Car Fans has learned that a company facility in Germany is displaying one of the cars that survived the filming — a Silverstone Metallic painted sedan covered with bullet holes (poor thing).

Cruise will be joined by Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Sean Harris and Alec Baldwin.
