"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will not have a campaign on PS3 and Xbox 360, Tech Times learned. Despite Beenox and Mercenary Technology working tirelessly to bring as much of the gameplay to the last gen consoles, it seems that the scope of one to four player coop campaign design of the new gen consoles and PC version could not be recreated on the last gens.

In addition to stripping the campaign from the last gens, they will not also have the Weapon Paint Shop, where players can customize weapons, and the new suite of eSports tools, GottaBeMobile reported. These features will only be available in PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The blog stated that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" for PS3 and Xbox 360 will be focusing on Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay.

It will have new momentum-based, chain-movement system and all-new Specialist class of nine Black Ops soldiers. Shadows of Evil, a brand-new Zombies mode inspired by a 1940's film-noir, will also be featured.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" for PS3 and Xbox 360 will have a suggested retail price of $49.99, and it will include a bonus download for the original "Call of Duty: Black Ops."

Fans expressed their disappointments and frustrations over this announcement. Found under the comments' section of the blog, one gamer, who had been a fan for a long-time, said that Treyarch disappointed him/her.

Another gamer commented, "You guys are the worst. What next the old gen won't get a box? and after that just a blank disk but here take my 60$."

"Isn't that why the dlc is on ps4? Because of money and Activision being gold diggers," another gamer added on the comment.

There was one who even said he/she will no longer buy "Call of Duty" anymore.

The reactions of these avid gamers toward the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" news are understandable. Not all were mad though.

There were some who understood the developer's decision. There were others who simply wanted their money back, and some who said the game should not be over $40 because of the missing features.
