Kate Moss is known for her wild and extravagant birthday parties, but it seems that she has something else in store for when she turns 40 next January - posing nude for Playboy Magazine.
Moss will reportedly bare all for the magazine's January edition. Although the public was not supposed to know about Moss' appearance, the story has been one of the world's worst-kept secrets. Rumors have run rampant for months that the British model would be revealing all to the world in Playboy, and the news has just been officially confirmed by Moss' hairstylist Oribe Canales. Canales accidentally let it slip that the shoot has, in fact, already taken place and that he was on set to style her hair. A rep for Playboy was mum when asked about the shoot, saying that he had no comment "one way or the other," and Moss' people were also tightlipped.
The British beauty was reportedly shot by Fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, who have also photographed such famous ladies as Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Madonna. Sources say that Moss was enthusiastic about the project, so much so that she commissioned artist Chuck Close to create a work based on the images from her Playboy shoot.
Moss is no stranger to posing nude. She has previously appeared naked in numerous fashion shoots and advertisements for David Yurman and suntan lotion St. Tropez. She also bared all earlier this year for V Magazine, wearing no top in a photoshoot with famous photographer Mario Testino.
