The last time Apple made a MacBook release was in March 2016. That was the MacBook Air. Now fans are waiting and eagerly anticipating the release of the all new MacBook Pro 2016.
The new MacBook Pro is coming out with a Touch ID and Apple is making sure it gets released this fall. The new model is reported to be thinner and lighter compared to the previous Air models. It will also feature 4 USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3.
Additional features will include an OLED touchscreen which is said to replace the old function keys found at the top of the keyboard. According to reports, Apple recently integrated the Apple Pay transactions on its Macs but users will still need to use the iPhone's Touch ID feature. But speculations are pointing to a feature that may no longer require users to do that as a fingerprint sensor will be built in on the MacBook Pro 2016 model with a 5120 x 2880 pixel resolution, and a 5K display.
Apple users and fans of the products can expect a MacOS Sierra to have some improvements on the Apple Pay transactions. Another update indicated that Apple may be removing the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the 2016 MacBook Pro. In terms of selling price, it would range between $1,399 and $2,699. The MacBook Pro 2015 13-inch and 15-inch are now being sold with discounts of up to $400. It is speculated that this price shift suggests that Apple is now preparing for the launch of the MacBook Pro 2016. The MacBook Pro discounted price for the 15-inch MBP models is now priced for $2,699 or $400 less from its original price.
Following the sale given by Apple, tech followers are saying that the MacBook Pro 2016 will come on the last quarter of 2016 which may be just in time for the Holidays. There will be a lot of great promos, offers and a lot of products to choose from when the launch of the MacBook Pro 2016 happens.
